This notice explains how LusoCryptoLabs, Lda. ("we") handles personal data you choose to send us. We keep it short and we keep it honest.

Who is responsible

LusoCryptoLabs, Lda., based in Porto, Portugal, is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@lusocryptolabs.com.

What we collect, and why

The only personal data we actively collect is what you type into the contact form: your name, your email address, an optional indication of what you need, and your message. We use it for one purpose, to read and reply to your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

How the form works

The contact form is submitted through Web3Forms, a third-party service that acts as a data processor on our behalf: it receives your submission and forwards it to our inbox by email. Web3Forms may process your message on infrastructure located outside the European Economic Area; for that transfer we rely on the safeguards set out in the Web3Forms privacy policy, and we do not authorise any use of your data beyond delivering your message to us. We ask only for what we need to reply: your name, your email address, and your message.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for up to 12 months after our last exchange with you, unless your message becomes part of an active client engagement, in which case we keep it for the life of that engagement. After that, we delete it.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking. If we add privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics in the future, we will update this notice first.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@lusocryptolabs.com and we will act on reasonable requests. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top will change with it.
